We raise hereford influence beef cattle.  It is important to us that our cattle are treated humanely and kept in the best condition possible.  While our beef are here on the ranch they are only grass and hay fed.  We do not feed grains.

Feed is spread as far as possible to keep the cattle from arguing over breakfast and to help spread the fertilizer and humus in the fields.

When treating and handling our cattle we like to be calm and respectful.  By the time our cattle are ready to go out on the range each year they are accustom to us moving them quietly both on foot and with horses.  This has proven a beneficial practice for all concerned.
